Hours owed since going full time

Morning all, could I ask for some advice on this please?

I was made a full time employee on September 3rd. Since then, I have not received a full time contract, the EGR (?) has been put through and I’ve been paid 30 hours a week still despite working 38. (39 in September)

I have now started getting some of the hours owed on lumps each week, but I’m owed a lot still and it’s a constant battle

Both the DOM and CWU rep are listening and appearing to try and resolve it, but say it’s a national thing. Is that correct?

However, it’s been 3 months practically now, and the hours owed to the several staff totals around 800 or so, being paid in piecemeal. I get the impression they’re paying us when they hours spare in their weeks budget rather than what they should’ve done and paid us in full.
The DOM assistant who does the wages is lying regularly and I’m thinking of putting in a grievance against him, as his story changes weekly.

It`s not a national thing. You should be paid for all the overtime worked.
Try talk to the CWU area rep and also use that email above and call HR, their phone number is on the back of your wage slip.

Unbelievable. Do something about it as a group. 800 hours ffs. A riot should have broken out and is this another rep in name only but with no backbone who sits and has tea and biscuits with management. Your seem to be accepting it.

In my opinion the email address I gave is specific to pay queries.
The advantage of sending an email asking for clarification on your individual query is that you will hopefully receive a response to indicate if what you have been told is correct or otherwise.

Thanks, I have emailed them asking if it’s a national issue and if what is happening at our DO is the correct procedure.

I was told that email only works if it is sent from a managers Royal Mail email address. Tried emailing before and never got a response. Maybe I’m wrong

The email address is listed in Contacts/key contacts on myroyalmail site. I think there is restriction access for PSP, but I am not certain that applies to this email address.

Update when you receive a response. Will be interesting to know if you get a resolution. ECR (Employee Change Request) I googled!

i posted this link earlier today but useful to anyone having pay issues to get the info early

takes 5 mins to register and you usually can see your gross pay on the wednesday (if weekly paid)
