Managers have a duty of care to their employees...so when staff are on sick DO NOT ring them up 5 times a day asking about their welfare or pester them to come back into work nor come and visit them at home just to see how they are feeling.

If an employee rings up in the morning feeling unwell and thinks that they will probably be back in work in a few days then deal with the matter when they come back into work!!

It's hard to say how bad labour will be, we haven't seen them in power but one thing is for sure is that the mental health services have had MASSIVE cutbacks!
