Door to doors

Well here's a question, how does it work if someone is taking next week's door to doors this week already. Not sure if management know but surely this as to be addressed.

1. What an idiot!

2. How do they have time to prep next weeks as well as this weeks?

3. Completely not allowed, companies want them delivered the week they are supposed to be as sometimes special offers etc.

Any one else think when it’s 5 or more it’s going to lead to more and more customers opting out? Tried saying this to a manager as we got 7 next week he completely misheard/ didn’t listen to me and thought I was just whinging about them. I was actually trying to say would lead to long term profit loss if you hit people with 7, more people will opt out right?

It's a sackable offence - misdelivery.

Personally unless it's on your loops of a paired delivery I would keep away from the situation. If you are involved then you must get advice from the rep, and ultimately perhaps from a manager, otherwise, you could be implicated.

happens all the time in our office, manager turns a blind eye, cause OPG does a lot of OT, manager been told loads of times, as always its who you are at RM, total fookin joke! same fella signed for stuff and put it in bin, then guess what? no disciplinary, was told not to do it, put normal packets in about 3 times now leading to complaints, still no one cares, gets on with the boss, RM ha ha

how about if your d2ds for the week come in a friday? Are we suppost to run around and do them in two days flat?

not run around, either you have a discussion with the manager and he needs to pay OT or any left they fail, can you guess which option should be used?

We have D2Ds arrive on a Wednesday/Thursday and you think just when you've got rid of half of your D2Ds, here comes some more that should have arrived on Monday. The answer is not to run around and do them in a few days flat but simply deliver what you can and use the overrunning procedure. Quite how mail centres mess up is anyones guess.

Either they've arrived late at the MC or the vans a blown out and so D2Ds are what get left behind

Its probably not uncommon for D2Ds to get delivered a week early by mistake occasionally. It would be a failure of the contract though. Some contractors send out surveys to check their D2Ds are delivered correctly and on the correct dates.

If they haven't bothered by now, then they won't bother at all.
And the process is cumbersome to put you off.
