Bullying and Harassment complaint

Need a bit of advice on whether im being a little overreactive or not. We were late back today as van broke down and parcels were insane. 2 hours over each, not a great deal. As soon as partner signed out of pda manager was straight on the phone giving me both barrels about why so much over. Aggressive and bullying tone, a couple of f***s thrown in to show how hard he is etc. Plus trying to get me to throw my partner under the bus for being slower. Would I be overreacting to lodge a bullying complaint ? Sick of this guy strutting about like King Dick talking to people like their nothing and to be honest grievance procedure in my office is like pissing in the wind.

Any advice much appreciated.

Do the paper work, proving your case will be tough but will let him know you are no soft touch.
He needs taught a lesson, sounds like devious prick.
Prepare for a backlash, keep your nose clean and a diary of future events.

I took a B&H out against the management about 6 months ago, i've now been suspended and transferred out of my unit. Happy f***ing days!

This sounds like every line manager across the country, How can they get away with constantly being agressive and bullying workers like this. Eveyone i speak to now says the are given unmanagable work loads and get pressured into staying out to complete delivery by managers. But unfortunetly we have no union nowadays and royal mail get away with the bullying and harrassment on a daily basis.

It is definitely bullying and harassment by the sounds of it , swearing at you alone is totally out of order , I personally would take out a greivance against him , that's the only way to put a stop to this type of behaviour. Stay strong and stand up to this arsehole.

Christmas parcels are already building up yet managers think it’s still summer. Tell them you will only be working your hours from now on and he won’t have to worry about paying you overime again because you won’t be doing any!

Personally if ANY manager swore at me and treated me like shot I would punch his c..t in outside of work the job be dammned. There is a limit that any person can take and I HATE bullies as I was subjected to their carp in school. Yes by all means to down the official route but it it fails and you start getting more grief, well.........

Sneaky prick phoned a guy i work with and said he wanted to speak to me, didnt even realise who it was i was talking to .

Same thoughts were going through my head mate but he is big lad, didn't fancy my chances lol.

Get a grievance in , so he apologised today ! Was that until the next time someone is late . There's no place for this behaviour it's unprofessional

ring hr and get a grievance in against him and tell him to shove his apology up his arse , these so called dims cant talk to staff like s**t , stand up to him .
