Days off for Lieu days

Just wondering if its possible and any one has ever done it where they have worked a few days off in exchange for some lieu days.
Im saying this as early next year I've got a few weeks leave to visit family abroad and would be nice to be able to get say the friday/saturday off so i can leave earlier

Go see the DOM and come to an agreement. Then get said agreement written down, signed and framed for when he/she "forgets" the deal and shafts you

haha the *forgets* comment is too true. Tried to say the same thing a couple of years ago when i worked my saturday off a few weeks before going to get the friday before i went off

Usually just get the just let us know nearer the time and well see brush off
