What can they be about? Is it simply a case of when management refuse to follow procedure or try and put something in motion without agreement with the union?
Say, if they keep using an unagreed cut off form or issuing stages when they shouldn’t

The disagreement is a term I have only just recently learned about.
Is this a standard CWU response? You disagree but carry on as normal.
It seems terribly weak doesn't it?
What is the point of it?

If a disagreement is raised then the action that the disagreement is about should stop immediately until further discussions have been made. If they try and bring something in after disagreement by executive action the that could be grounds to ballot the staff for industrial action

Thank you number one. That's really interesting.
There is a disagreement in my local DO and the behaviour is continuing. Should we therefore be balloted then for industrial action?
If following the ballot the vote is not to strike, does that then set a precedent permitting the disagreed behaviour to continue?
Thanks

If your first disagreement ( stage1) is falling on deaf ears then you proceed to a stage 2 disagreement and a stage 3. At the increasing stages it then involves managers of a higher authority level and area/ divisional CWU reps and then on to an independant intervention.

In other words a right load of bollocks as most of the time the actions that are being complained about started at Divisional level.
Royal Mail managers.....about as popular as a t.urd in a swimming pool!
The DDA/Equality Act demands action,NOT words......adjustments NOT Occupational Health referrals.Case No:2505901/09
Royal Mail is an Equal Opportunities Employer..It discriminates against everybody.
