25 hour contract to 35

Will all part time posties on 25hours be made to 35 hours once the full timers come down to 35 eventually? Or are we going to be stuck with 25hour contracts forever. Can someone help me out please thanks

depends on the needs of your office, you will probably go to 27.5 hrs first

If only, you will just get the hourly increase as they decrease, do you really think they will have everbody fulltime on 35 hours, 35 hours i can't see that happening we will be lucky if 37 hours ever happens

So an hourly increase as they decrease meaning they decrease by 4 hours we will gain 4 hours?

Part time hourly wage would increase, not our hours.

I know we are due a 2% payrise this month is this just the 1 off or?

Every time an hour comes off the working week part time staff will get a pay rise.
Each hour off the working week is approximately a 2.6% pay increase.
We are also due a pay rise in April.

About 30p/hour
Or £7/week on a 25 hour contract.

A 35 hr week will never happen.

Anyway, why would 25 hr contracts be made up to 35?

If there is a full time vacancy and you fancy it, apply and if you are lucky and have seniority, you will get it.
