Can anybody tell me, has any runners had their duties increased based on their pda actuals and as a consequence has any work to timers had their monster deliveries reduced? In my office its business as usual, all the runners ghosting, and work to timers moaning

Same in my office, they did look at actuals but shyed away from taking stuff off people who go over to give to early finishers because they said it would just cause arguements that would be never ending about speed of work etc.

They might not be looking at the present time , but I've heard area mangers are starting to put the pressure on doms to save some hour's.

But don’t you think it should also be down to how much work you actually do in your time. As soon as you start punishing people who are good at their job thats when you cause real problems. If we all worked at the rate of the slowest person what would that achieve. We can all drag our feet if needed

One duty of about 60 in our office has so far been chopped following use of PDA Actuals to prove or disprove their claims. Not sure where the extra work went though. They are goinf through 'problem' duties one by one, too much on to do it any quicker. It might take 12 months!

Rushing is not being good at your job. There is too much emphasis on quantity not quality, management encourage this.

Agree , should be judged on workload and not finishing times , we can all drag our feet if need be.

When they do all the changes to the rounds, the runners might get to pick onto now smaller duties and leave someone else to pick their old bigger duty. What happens then? Another revision/adjustment to duties?

We've been told a revision based on actuals is coming our way so the runners are saying they'll smash their rounds then in a repick go onto a duty that's had stuff took off it and let someone else prove how easy their old duties where especially with anything else added onto them

9/10 says those who finish early are running around and not taking breaks, not using delivery equipment.

It's all about TIME not the work you do!

All about time and not the work you do?? So I could come into work make a brew, have a chit chat, go out for a smoke, go to the loo, go for another smoke, have another brew. Then take forever preparing my walk amd just deliver a row at snails pace to take me up to my time and go home?

I somehow don’t think they’ll like that very much.

In my office the slowest postie (and lets not kid ourselves that “they are probably doing it correctly” because they’re not. Is the highest paid employee in my office. He books 3:30hrs extended most days and does a about 10 parcels on overtime which he books 2:30hrs for.

I wouldn't take anything off any duty I would just give the larger duties to the faster, efficient and organised, if it's just a case of people working at different rates it shouldn't be a problem should it?
