More bad management

Heard manager pulling fellow postie up about being over his time today.
Cut long story short van broke down etc over time a hour.
Saying he's not up to speed or other words .
Thing that gets me on that Saturday managers home early ,
So doesn't give a s**t about office and staff or health and safety.
But if he had done job correct people finnished at 12.30 could have gave other postman a hand,
Why aren't PDA actuals getting use.
Why still b&h from managers for people doing job correct .

When will managers ever realise that if you treat employees right and with a bit of respect,they will get the best out of them,instead of bullying,getting on at them when it is unnecessary and intimidation.But there again if you have no man management skills,no compassion,no conscience and just think of your bonus what can you expect!!

Best not to stress about it. Just do your job correctly, go home and switch off till next day. I'm not saying don't stick up for anyone who's being unfairly treated, but don't try to think how the office could be run better, as they always know best ( we know they don't) but they do.

So the van broke down, and then he got told he’s not up to speed? There’s no agreement which says how fast we’re expected to go anyway. Simply ask them to put it in writing, that usually shuts them up.

As I'm aware off this is no official standard for when out on duty etc every person different age speed , lol that will shut them up even more ....
