Dom reducing the day by ten minutes

So our Dom is reducing the day by ten minutes instead of 12 on the Wallington system is this right?

Our day is 10 mins shorter Mon, Tues Fri and Sat and 30 mins on Tuesday. 1hr10mins a week which apparently equals out on a 1 in 4 rota!

Wallington system is 5 weeks x 6 days and one rest week? Should be 12 mins a day

Are you not on longs and shorts to align with mail arrivals? How can they take 30 minutes off a tuesday? There is talk of them adding time onto our tuesday because since they made it a shorter day with longs and shorts people are claiming or cutting off. Or are your rounds still easy so people still get a flyer most days?

75% of our office start too early, the few of us that do it right finish on time or leave stuff, some can finish 2 hrs early and it's OK because they are efficient. The office is a mess!!

Our office the same total shambles
So much for PDA actuals
If we leave mail not enough time the manager pays OT to the runners to clear then let's people who finnsh 1 hour before correct time let's them go home so he doesn't rock the boat with his runners .

Why pay out over time grab the runners and send them up with the mail that's been left
There all ready finnished a hour early
So much for the PDA actuals and the union saying in the way forward agreement that we've all to work our hours ...
Oh and in the way forward agreement managers to enforce tea breaks .
Managers turn a blind eye to that agreement asswell.
Managers just laugh at our union now .
They run the office stuff the union

100% agree, managers run it like their own business. Doing the job properly is a dirty word. Union can't help until people do it properly which won't happen because they can finish early, so nothing changes!

Please give us your start finish times under the way forward agreement what counts is your entitlement if you are on wallington weeks it would be averaged over six days ie 10 min if you are rotating 1 in 5 will be 12 min if you are on a 1 in 4 it will be 15 min but every office has it's own patterns of start and finish and hours of attendance so just saying my Dom is robbing me is not giving us the info to tell you if he is!
