Nothing has been said in out office regarding new start times.

Is this being rolled out nationally next week or is it all done on local agreements?

Sounds petty but I don't want to be working 39hrs if I'm only being paid for 38

We just been told to start 15 mins later but workload is exactly the same! So I will either claim or cut off,as it appears like they are not changing anything

we were told 12 mins off start time, and when it was asked how do we make them up our dom said "you got a pay rise so will just have to suck it up".

2nd last payday this month before Christmas for monthly paid workers out there.
The 1st October is going to be nuts with this etc packets going to spike and managers been told to absorb the hour from all full time postie's
Bring it on .
The cutting off procedure will be getting used tons now.
Hopefully runners realising do the job correct etc

We were told today that the 1 hour reduction was agreed as part of the pay rise and part of that agreement was that the work simply had to be 100% absorbed (i.e. same work done in 12 minutes less per day)

Does it say that in the agreement. I can't see it anywhere.

What it means is If YOU ARE LAPSING you will not have time to perform this bonus enhancer for management and they should have the office fully staffed accordingly and your rep should have a resource meeting each week with DOM and identify problems for the coming weeks if this is not happening it is because of greed by managers and with less hours this will be come more abundantly clear so just work your new hours at the same pace and let the s**t hit the fan big time!

Can't see it happening for everyone, for anyone who does sequencing on a CSS if they reduced them to 37hrs then the amount of mail getting sequenced in a given batch would have to be cut again, meaning even more stuff going manual. Also any early dispatches from MCs to DOs might get axed as there might end up not being enough mail ready to go to a DO to justify the cost of operating that given run. Also does a reduction to a 37hr week have a hope in hell of working in any DO?

The shorter working week works in every other job except RM delivery. In a mail centre you either start later or finish earlier. In a DO you are still getting shagged with mail and still take it out no Matter the time difference. We all know that most posture will still not claim the excess every day if mail doesn't get taken off them. What's the point in even talking about it

All it takes is people to come in on time not jump over fences or blue bin it and take your meal relief don't go over your time with out pay. JUST SAY I AM NOT LAPSING TODAY FROM THE FIRST OF OCTOBER!
