CWU life insurance

Vaguely remember the CWU offering free life insurance of around £20,000 to members ,does this still exist,and if so ,anyone know the procedure to follow.

I'm pretty sure that RM still have a insurance layout of 2x pensionable salary for death in service at no cost to the workforce. But if your in the pension schemes, the payout is reduced depending on lump sum for surviving partners/sites or children. I think it was brought in as a sweetener at the 2008 pension changes for going on to interior layouts and pension rules. Basically a little sweetener when getting shafted yet again after more promises being broken about what we expected in retirement. Total c***s.

Thanks for reply,taking my pension at moment,but don't pay in anymore.
