Hi I’ve just transferred to a new office and had to drop my hours from full time to 25 hours, I’m currently a spare on delivery and the local rep said I wouldn’t be able to pick a round for a year, is this correct?
Thanks

It may be a local agreement so its possible. But I think he got the "successfully applying for a vacant duty" mixed up with it. That's part of the way forward agreement and it does impose a 1-year hold on applying for another duty.

You will be able to pick a duty when a vacant duty is put up for re-sign, if you have the seniority.
You can't transfer into another office and expect to be given a duty.

Thanks, I expected to be spare just wanted to check why I couldn’t pick a duty for a year if one goes up for pick and I have the seniority.
