4 weeks on 1 week off

Does anybody know how long the working days will be next April when we go to 37 hours . Are your delivery office going to this shift pattern?

This would replace the 5 on 1 off Wallington week

From October 2018, a one-hour reduction to
the working week (currently 39 hours). This is
subject to: the deployment of the new last
letter delivery time; and the completion of
specific trials in the operation to help improve
customer service and productivity. These
include delivery methods and automated
hours data capture.
From October 2019, a further one-hour
reduction to the working week, subject to a
joint evaluation of factors including ongoing
efficiency, implementation of changes from
trials in the operation and technological
changes.
A commitment to move towards a 35-hour
week by 2022. "

Can anyone explain how one hour 40. Minute less the 40 minutes being an extra sat equal to 4 on 1 off?

So they the powers that be are trialling 9.5 hour shifts in your office you must explain yourself better or things will get confused!

38 hours per week(from October) divided by 4 = 9.5 hours per day assuming each day is equal. Not exactly rocket science is it.

Some people don't even know their start time these days but for the record for Arnold it is 9 hours 30 minutes exactly hope you have a good three days off and come back and tell us all if you enjoy it good luck all the best to Arnold a pioneer in our life time!

They call that Wallington weeks but normally 5 days so you must have a system what is your delivery span ie time out door thanks again!

we are on 5 weeks on one week off Wallington changing to 4 weeks on 1 week off Wallington
