Returned leave

What happens to returned leave come April? I had a week returned to me due to being sick.

Can't get managers to check how many spare days I have left.. Also seems to be a gauntlet trying to book spare days off.

carry them over till next year.

Ask to have them in this year, its your choice if you want to carry them over.

Does the company have a right to ask/force you to carry holidays over ? In 5 years ive been in the job I have had to carry over a couple of days per year without request. Our office refuses almost constantly to authorise single day leave with the excuse sickness is too high. There are guys who have over 10 weeks built up carried over more than 10 years. I have asked the union to look into this on so many occasions but never get a sensible reply.

Seriously, 10 weeks for 10 yrs! Can't see them ever getting that back! Surely they could have took some in January? Not telling me there was full leave capacity in January.
