Tuesday and Saturday at Delivery office

Every Tuesday and Saturday we have no walksorted on 2nd van from Gatwick
All the paired f/t pairings get sent to IPS till its finished whilst the F/T / P/T pairings stay at their frame throwing their round off.
Invariably what happens is the F/T / P/T pairings are up to date and on redi's whilst the F/T pairings are just going back to their benches and are about 40 mins behind.
Hardly fair but we get all the grief when you tell the DOM your not doing lapsing.
After 15 years the job is getting worse

Don't do lasping and cut off where possible.

Do you mean sequenced mail? Has it only been happening since the start of Network 18?

Network 18 is basically a change in the arrival times of the work from other MCs and RDCs. It near enough all comes in after 01:30 meaning less time to process the work. For wave 2 of sequencing it's going to mean more manual mail and less sequenced mail, especially if the batch that covers your walk is one of the first few batches run on a CSS. The sort plan that breaks the mail down into batches will often now still be being run at 05:30 and that's when its quieter.
