There is nothing in the IHR agreement that mentions the 9 months or 10 year criteria for IHR Lump Sum or Pension .
It is mainly a rough guide and everyone's case is different .
In my old office recently a former colleague who was given IHR Lump Sum won his appeal and has been awarded a enchanced Pension .
I must stress that the agreement states that although you may be unable to work in the RM you may be able to work in another industry . That part of the agreement is vague at best and some may say that is the RM get out clause .
However , since the RM will soon be no longer liable for the RMPP it does make you wonder the lengths they go to ..
