Is it accepted that a Dom can shout In the office?

Where I used to work they were always shouting,especially when they were either under pressure or in a bad mood,taking it out on the staff.Or they would shout and argue with each other which was comical but not very professional.

A DOM shout never shout or swear. They are supposed to be calm and sensible and portray a good image for RM.

Nice to know there so called man management skills sadly lacking and resulting in raising there voice and shouting!, that’ll always help get things done,like hitting it with a hammer,when good willed staff are fed up and not on board with your culture of fear regime,priceless,but then we shouldn’t expect anything else should we,

Its pointless shouting back if its levelled at you. You just got to be the bigger person.

A manager only shouts if OPG shout at them.

There are to many people on here that think OPGs can do no wrong. 90% of OPGs are hard working good people, but the other 10% are lazy bone idle people who put more effort getting out of work than rather do it, and our union defends them. I go to work do my job and go home I speak to my DOM in a decent way and I get spoken back the same way, its not hard.

If you treat your DOM with disrespect and rudeness you have to expect to be spoken back to the same way, then the majority throw their dummies out of the pram if they do so.

The trouble is with a lot of the DOMs and Linos is when things arnt going their way and they are under pressure,they just cant handle it,spit their dummy out and take it out on the poor postie. If you cant stand the heat then get out of the kitchen,comes to mind!!
