Quick and easy one chaps can some one apply to be your office rep if they are not on your TM1 .

How could you be that unit rep if your not in that unit??

he has to be working in the unit itself otherwise it would be contrary to the union rules as a local IR unit rep if that is what you mean.

Yes they work at office but are on another offices tm1

They came to our office as we had no rep ,the rep we did have stood down mid revision so they came in to over see the final stage.

They are still on another offices TM1 and they are currently the rep at that office .

Surely to stand for rep in our office he would have to be on our TM1 and he would have to relinquish his position of cwu rep at his current office.

We now have someone willing to take on the reps role but can this other person apply meaning it going to ballot .

I find it hard to think this would be legal
