The dividend payment gets paid directly into your bank account and is not in with wages

all the rest of the mid year ones were paid 28/29/31 July, wonder why this ones later?

At a guess, and it is just a guess, the Royal Mail may have changed what it considers to be it's financial year. Companies do this from time to time, though not for any earth shatteringly good reason AFAICS, and it can often affect either when their dividends are paid or how much the dividends are in the year where the change occurs.

CWU notice board says dividend payment is on the 19th July

according to RMTV, the AGM is the 19th July, then all shareholders on the register at the close of business on the 27th July will receive payment on the 31st August.
