Election Payments

Given that there are a lot of rumblings about the rebel Tories ousting Theresa May and forcing an autumn general election (maybe we'll have a general election every year from now on), I was wondering what happened to the talk of stopping payments for polling cards and unaddressed leaflets? God forbid there is another election, but I'd hate it even more if had to deliver twelve varieties of nonsense on a daily basis with no compensation for it whatsoever.

It will likely be just a leadership election internally among the MPs and members of the Conservative party. Mrs May does need to go as she makes a complete pigs ear of everything she touches. Definitely wasn't the right person for the job.
