so is 30 mins ok to say your happy to go over but then thats it im not taking anymore out with me that day.

If anything there will be more cut-offs next week with it being a Bank Holiday week

they make us work to time when able to ie tuesday via lapsing
so when were busy i ask the question what do you want done in my CONTRACTED HOURS

Use the overrunning deliver procedure to cut off if you don't want to go over, they can't make you not cut off.
This was recently re covered in this joint statement, also make sure your rep is making sure it is all reported.

Yeh, seems obvious to me. DOMs like their pound of flesh and want their cake having already eaten it.
The never ending cycle turns unabated and unchallenged.
Best advice is work your time and cut off every day. Taking the hit is a one way (RM) situation, always!

Once again our office has been told no-one can bring mail back if they are over their time. Yes you are advised to tell a manager before leaving if you will be over and previously if we wanted to work over we would be paid and if you didn't an agreement would be reached but now all we constantly get is how can we possibly be over if the figures are below model traffic usually followed by the lino or dom walking away. People are working over and not claiming all to keep the spotlight off their back.

Also heard from another postie that the 3 c's are now the 2 c's as our DSM believes that people have had more than enough coaching.

So much for a new way of working.

That would only hold true if...
OPGs use the mandatory delivery equipment correctly

OPGs stand still while getting mail from the working bundle for the next address

OPGs take their pre-delivery and on-delivery paid meal relief

OPGs only log off from the PDA immediately before clocking off

etc.

I don't know anyone who does the top three and not many do the fourth (they might arrive back to the depot already logged off, then deal with mail/parcels they've brought back, then do some deads etc. before finally going home).

It's one thing to carry on working unpaid to complete your walk off your own back. It's another thing entirely for a DOM to tell you to officially work but not get paid for doing it.

I find it odd that managers do not want to pay us for going over 15 mins but are happy for some to go home 45 mins early. I give and take over the week but once we get a 38 hour week the give has gone and i will claim every time i go over.
