Does sickness renew after a years time ??

So we’re allowed a certain amount of time off sick before we trigger a stage 1 etc etc

Its more complicated but in bite size bits:

Sick pay counts over a 4 year rolling period.

Each sickness absence is live for 12 months.

If on a stage and you don't go sick within 6 months you revert to no stage.

Hmm. Turns in 'sick club' seem to come round more often than that but maybe I'm mistaken. I'm not a member of 'sick club' and have no plans to join up.

RM take into account that the average postie will take about 12 days each when negotiating wage rises ect, so you might as well take it because your just a number who they couldn't give a toss about.

Are you sure about this? Has it changed recently?

So to clear a stage 1 you have to go for a continuous period of 6 months with zero days sick? Pretty sure the latest agreement made this a fixed 6 month period i.e. you can have 1 sickness after being given a stage 1 and come off the procedure after 6 months is up from when it was issued.

I was trying to keep it to bullet points but yes you have it correct.
