Being paid for time between two duties (under 1 hour)?

Post by Dantheunit »

Hi I vaguely remember reading something in one of the agreements where if there was less than an hour between duties and there was no work available for you t0 undertake in that time you could claim it so long as it's under 1 hour.

Anyone got any clue what i'm referring or where to, or where I can find it?

I have read that too but can't for the life of me remember where it was.
I believe it was called "book through"
The jist of it was if there is 59 minutes or less between overtime and the start of your regular shift or the end of your shift and some overtime you can book that time.

SAs however are not counted as overtime

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
