Over the past 3 weeks i have been doing the job properly with 2 others on my section.
It has now come to a head this morning.
Untouchable was supposed to take the mail out yesterday what i left in, he left it in!
We didnt get off the sorting until 7.15am.
4 boxes of mail later, after seeing the dim's boss about finally seeing something in black and white about my start and finish times i go back in the get the last bag and have dim and a screw looking at the mail left in.
He says the following.....
" I cant have this every saturday, i have took someone over to another office as i thought all the walks had gone out.U have left nearly two thirds of a walk in here."
I pointed out i came off the sorting at 7.15am, had 4 boxes of mail(left mailsort under fitting) my fitting is too small(keep saying that and it doesnt get me no where
)He said the following
" we will have to have a meeting with the union on monday about this and talk about u going on another walk as u are not clearing this every day, u might have to go part time!!!!!!"
I burst into tears at that suggestion, and said"After 15 years doing this duty i have to say good bye to all my customers?"
"If that what u have to do!, go out outside and get some fresh air and get some of this walk out!"
I went and saw dim's boss and he says something has got to be done about me not leaving mail in the fitting.
I met the union man while going down to my walk, i was in a mess of tears.
He says we will have this meeting, and sort this out and not get too upset.
