Since our Union leaders have done as much as possible to secure a deal under the current difficult circumstances, which we all know is down to the Labour Govt/Regulater, what useful purpose will further IA serve? What would our goals/objectives be so that we would know we have 'won'?

Is the Union claiming there will be no job losses over the next years?
If RM continue to lose business because of unfair regulation how secure would our pensions be even if RM was forced to leave the rules unchanged?

There is much that is unpalatable but if the Government is against us and RM feel they are entitled to take EA because the Union is not negotiating/bargaining, then things are going to get much worse with people leaving in droves.

At a minimum it would show the leaders, Royal Mail, Union and Government just how deep the feeling of injustice is.
