I recently transferred out of the office I was working in for 1 year. I moved out of area but had to return suddenly. I’ve now been placed in an office that’s an hours drive away from where I’m living. That’s a 2 hour journey daily just for work. The petrol cost is high and I’m feel really stressed. Would I be in a position to ask to be moved closer to home?

We also usually advise to contact the offices/s that you want to go to personally as that could speed things up.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
