No good friday sorting for us this year dom said been ordered from above to scrap it,is this happening every delivery office, means a shite day Saturday. Joy

We haven't delivered on Good Friday for quite a few years now. Not sure how many. Always used to get loads of mailshots about this time of year from furniture companies. Lucas World of Furniture etc. That doesn't seem to happen anymore.

In the mail centres, like with everywhere else, it's weird. Easter Sunday isn't a holiday but Easter Monday is.

I go to church every week but they never tell us about what wonderful events happened on Easter Monday. Was it the day Our Lord went and picked up His mail? Had an awkward argument with the guy who was subletting His flat?

Nah no need anymore, used to do it on overtime when we had loads of mail but we don't anymore, today was pretty quiet as a usual Saturday.
