SNOW tomorrow

Post by jessicarabbit »

There is snow forecast overnight. Tomorrow I plan to get to the office by walking in. If I get sent home and get the manager to acknowledge there is no work available for me to do can I expect to have no loss of leave or hours docked at a later date?

At the beginning of the month they tried to take holiday from everyone who didn't attend. The CWU are on the case apparently but I'd rather be one step ahead of THEM!!°

Wall in, be told you can make hours up. Refuse to leave and stay until your finish time, well, make lots of noise and annoy the manager until you get sent home without making time up

Agreed. If you go in and tell them you are there to work until your finish time. Only go home if they tell you nothing to make up.
