has anybody else recieved thiers today?
telling you that they have managed to grind outa decent deal out of all this negotiating, and its all onwards and upwards..if we vote yes...
f**k OFF .
obviously this will be the 1st of many begging letters from ward and hayes,if this vote goes to a no..just like the way forwards when the cwu were getting desperate for us to sign..
ballot papers next week apparently..couldnt come quick enough for me..lets get them no votes sent back asap..
got mine today, alas the feeling i get is that many members will read this s**t and think we won a good deal, HOW WRONG THEY WILL BE. I HOPE THE REPS FROM NATIONAL TO LOCAL EXPLAIN TO THE MEMBERS THE TRUTH ABOUT WHAT A YES VOTE WILL MEAN TO THEM IN THE REAL WORLD. I HONESTLY THINK BILLY HAYES AND DAVE WARD WHERE SNIFFING SOME WHITE POWDER WHEN THEY SIGNED UP TO THIS.
Sent it back. They couldn't be bothered keeping us informed for weeks on end, so why do they suddenly imagine I would want instructions on turd polishing?
Off you pop Billy Boy!
The Industrial Workers of the World. The union whose members never scab!
"The working class and the employing class have nothing in common."
i really do hope every single postie and royal mail worker do vote no on this deal, its plain as day this deal is shite..
hopefully they will know this and vote no..and not just lazily vote yes and to hell with the consequences..this is probably the most important thing we will have to vote against in terms of our jobs, pensions and future..
and i dont want it all thrown away by a lazy, naive posty who just votes yes for the sake ot it,and to hell with the consquences later..

if thats is as good as they can get, then its worth another all out strike..
no way is that as good as they can get.lets get 2 union leaders in there with a bit more of a backbone and see if they can get better..because that is NOT as good as they can get no way.
If you go to the CWU site and read the transcript of John Hutton with the Select Committee & read John Hutton's answers, reading between the lines he leant on Billy & Dave. Don't know what he promised, you'r guess is as good as mine.
The one thing that stood out for me with this drivel the cwu have sent out [received it today], is that the agreement is a divide and conquer stratedgy. ie most things seem to be set up and negotiated on a local basis. They seem to emphasise this as a good thing for some strange reason? United we stand divided we fall. Don't be taken in by this bullshit. As soon as we agree to these localised negotiations the workers will be rail-roaded into doing everything the top brass wants.... what re really need is some fast elections for the top union spots as pinky and perky are clearly deluded, then maybe we'd get an agreement that was actually worth voting on
if you give up our national agreements and allow local negotiations ,mr ward and mr hayes, then there is as much need for you as there is for crozier and leighton???? YOUR CHOICE boys!!!

i think it feels that way anyway..there has definately been something shifty going on there, for hares and ward to exept that deal..
where every other union rep in the country think the deal is shite..im sure it will be leaked out sooner or later as to why hayes and ward are trying to get this deal in..whether it be backhanders or a step up i dont know..but they have definately sold us right down the river..and i dont think its because theyre gullible or out of thier league, its because something shifty has gone on .
