Part time covering full time

Hi a few of us work a 3 day week 7 hours 48 mins per day if they reduce the full time days by 12 min what happens to our hours

Part timers will stay on the same hours but will get a pay increase because the hourly rate will go up.
Example; if you are paid £390 for a 39 hr week this is £10 per HR.
You drop to a 38 hr week on the same pay then this is £10.26 per HR.
So part timers get a 26 pence per hr raise. (2.6%)

Thanks it's not so much what they will do with the pay its just they will not pay us 12 minutes more everyday for doing a full time round so they may try to drop our hours

What will happen is you come in on time, work as instructed, and finish on time. Same as now.

Mgmt cannot lower or increase your contract hours unless you agree. Can't think what agreement it states it in. Hence why P/T staff get an additional 2.6% pay rise in hourly pay when the SWW kicks in.

You will work the same hours per week. How many you work each day will possibly change. What contract do you have (23hrs 24 mins)?

The 3day week people in our office were told they'd be doing 4 days (delivery only)so all the donkey work starting at 9 or 10

Am on job share we do 39 hours between 2 peopke

If you want to keep to your 3 days a week, the simple thing would be to reduce your hours accordingly. You would be no worse off financially with the pay rise. Surely that would suit everyone.

You don’t have to reduce your hours. Just keep working the same days you currently do if that’s what suits. You will probably keep same start and finish times but speak to your rep even manager about it at the time. SWW is not definite yet anyway.
