RM managers are showing "insensitivity"?
But how can that be? Haven't they been briefed on the "culture change"?
I thought we were all skipping hand in hand into the new dawn of blissful industrial relations.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Apparently, a manager in an unnamed DO, insisted it was safe to go outside, and to prove it he went out in office shoes......

1 Slip and 1 Ambulance later he's carted off so the Medics can fix his broken ankle. The DO members were quite obviously concerned about their manager and some started showing Pseudobulbar symptoms.

Well done Tam!
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Me, my family members and mates have mostly all been sent home from the workplace due to weather. Other employers were going doing staff asking how they were getting home (as Glasgow buses/trains off) and generally caring for their staff. But this shower of so called managers in RM need a good f.....g kick in the nuts. Its a disgrace the way they try and bully staff into (anything for their managers bonus) these days. It needs to go to the press because the union is doing SFA about it, apart from a few good reps who are not getting backed up from above. The only way that they will take notice is to ALL stop your dues. Money talks.

When Moya Greene cannot even mention the word CULTURE in her discussion in The Courier regarding the agreement, there is no chance of Local Managers taking any notice of Health and Safety Agreements. If this company were inspected to the same degree as a food establishment is for food hygene it would have been closed down years ago.
