When is the ballot?

Does anyone know when the ballot will take place? If it is a yes when are we likely to get the back dated pay rise payout?

You DO realise that there's more to it than just the pay rise ?

Thats why we got to debates it properly and consider the long term implications especially pensions, terms and conditions, ways of working.

So voting no and having no pension scheme is better ?

Remember the DB scheme closes on 31st March 2018.

Voting no will mean there is no agreed pension solution , Royal Mail will have a auto enrol all of us into the DC scheme.

Of course we would strike but when you recommend voting no be honest and say that your recommending a vote which means we have no agreed pension scheme at all.

Unless the proposed pension scheme gets the required legislation through parliament how is that any different from someone voting yes?

Because there is an an interim option until it gets approval. John Milledge and Ray Ellis along with their respective pension advisors and legal teams are meeting with the select committee today to present the CDC scheme and explain Royal Mail’s scheme.

Voting no means on the 1st April 2018 anyone who joined before 2008 Pensions fall off the cliff.

That is the point I am making.

Would that be the pants DC scheme that was 'let in' which many members are already in which doesn't have the same employer contributions as the other schemes and
which members with less than 5 years service are going to have to remain with in the interim period STILL with lower employer contributions?
