TRANSFER to parcel force collection and delivery driver

I’m currently a postman , 27 hours a week, parcel force collection and delivery driver is 40 hours a week and there are jobs available for transfer.
It’s not one of those self employed things is it?
Pros/cons? Thanks for any help/comments people

I think parcel force jobs can be run on a franchise basis but don't quote me on it. Used to see parcel force vans delivering all the time but rarely see them now. DPD seem to be the most common ones around - other than us of course!!

The couple of Parcel Force drivers I encounter on my walks look even more stressed and harrassed than we do, jumping out of their vans and charging up paths like Starsky and Hutch.

Not sure if Id want to swap with them tbh.

you prepared to work from 7am -5 pm ? also there is a 3 hour collection overtime built into the duty every day ie picking up from firms etc . if its full time then do it if you need it goodluck

I wish our local Parcelforce driver was that busy. I've just delivered 3 yorks of Parcelforce parcels on top of the 1½ yorks of normal parcels. Crackered....

We work a 40hr week Monday-Friday . Most driving jobs will be over 8 hrs and the extra will be S.A. We also get paid driving allowance and there is a depot by depot bonus scheme for achieving 1st time delivery.
The work can be stressful but name me one Royal Mail job that isn't. Remember you get all weekends off unless you want to work Saturday as overtime.
