well the cracks are starting to appear in this agreement now. we were downstairs for wtll this morning. Sue Walley was speaking about it. the hour off the working week is to be ''absorbed''...in other words its self funding if you like, we are doing the same amount of graft but less time to do it in....what is going to happen when we have 4 hours off our working week? will we be expected to absorb that as well? the pension is closing to future accrual in march (I'm cashing the rest of mine in then) but a lump sum was mentioned with no hint of this wage in retirement Terry Pullinger was on about. even the rep said..''if something sounds too good to be true, then it probably is'' ... bloody hell, not that old chestnut. I'm definitely reconsidering my yes vote now.

I truly hate that word "absorbed". Its just a con to try and get the workers to work harder and more efficiently for nothing. We may all be ruing the day we agreed a SWW for a perhaps a measly pay rise in the future when the company is making our role out on delivery much harder and more complicated than it ever was.

Unless they put more hours in then the SWW won't ave a chance in hell of working, on a busy day it'll be just 12mins extra worth of work that will fail

You will work your contractual hours regardless of whether you complete your duty or not.

It will not be quick four or five pensions dependant on service!

Amusingly our office informed us this morning that we would all be doing extra indoor work every day from now on, so that fits in pretty well with shortening the working week.
