Got a feeling it wont be a 90% yes vote. Yes paid deal is fine, hour of working week in October will be great, pensions so so, but workload nothing . Data capture not sure what it means. Most posties would be delighted to walk out of office door when their time is up, instead of every day battle with managers. Plus some offices will have 30 minutes later start times which means 30 minutes later at finishing then they are now. Yes its much better than 9 til 5, if I was working indoors I would call it a great deal, but I'm out delivering. 30 plus years in job how long before they tell me I'm too slow, according to their data capture.

It does not quite work that way does it in most delivery offices as the Bullying and Harassment in most offices is appalling and nothing in the agreement about it or about Grievances swept under the carpet nor the IR framework being broken we could have at least mentioned it in the talks. I know the subject is not ideal to bring up as RM negotiators probably would have choked on their hob nob biscuits but for nothing about the most pressing issue in these modern post privatisation of RM this is a failed agreement that fell that the first hurdle because this issue has not been addressed.

It should have been mentioned in the main paragraph about how the job should be completed on page 30 of the proposal/agreement. But it is sadly missing from the end of that paragraph. There does not seem to be anything physically written down as regards getting paid if you go over your duty time and want to continue to get all your mail delivered. On the other hand if you say there isn't enough time to complete and you will need to cut off that isn't seemingly acceptable either. This is jointly the fault of the union and RM.
