On a more sensible note. We have a DOM support in our office, he looks after the locker room, goes around collecting signatures after work time learning or Driving Licence checks, some times he imputes overtime. In the morning he will double prep some frames and support the DOM. But! when the office is under pressure he is expected to pick up streets which have been left. To be honest not my cup of tea, I like to know what I am doing every day he does not.

I can see the logic behind it, assisting the Dom doing tasks that are basically administration/completing paperwork such as driving licence checks/updating leave etc, basically being their secretary/pa whilst the Dom gets on with the important stuff, but to be brutally honest our Dom and I suspect most others don't need any assistance, judging by the amount of time he spends quite obviously doing f#ck all he's got more than enough time to do it all himself he doesn't need any help !

It's to do a full round everyday, plus two hours more work than anybody else in the depot whilst the DOM goes home early because you're doing the tedious s**t he'd otherwise have to do.
