Can you please help me. A manager called me into day because I brought mail back but I did do 6 loops and the lad who was suppose to do the 2 walks with me was sent home so I was on my own till half 10 until I got help, but I was called in and was told it's not good enough even tho this is the first time this has happened and I have only been here for 5 weeks and he said my review is coming up for my 3 month even tho I am on a 6 month probation period and I was told unless I change he will end it is this correct procedure as I am now feeling violated.

You obviously have a manger when common sense was handed out was missing and his knowledge of staff training and the requirements of the duties and the work required for duties under his control he is clueless and he should be under review.
In other circumstances I would have advised a grievance but as you are still on probation I wouldn't want to antagonise your situation any further.
I would suggest you have a word with your office workplace coach and your union representative although you at the moment may not be a union member but would hope that your union representative listens to your complaint.
If you know the colleague who eventually arrived to help ask if they are willing to accompany you to the union representative.

If you are not a CWU member do not expect help from your rep, would the AA help you if you weren't a member??

Even if you're not a member your rep will probably give advice as he's likely to be a normal reasonable human being, as opposed to your manager who's obviously a complete cock, your reps best advice after that will be to join the union if you haven't already.

Actually, yes. That's why I joined them, I broke down near one of their bases and on the off chance went in and asked if they could help. 10 minutes later I was up and running. That was in the late 80s though.

Just like the AA did with me, help anyone that asks they will probably join. But if they take the piss, then I would refuse.

That's a terrible analogy. The rep is not the CWU or even an employee of the CWU, first and foremost he/she is a work colleague, If you saw a colleague at the side of the road would you drive past giving the finger because you've got AA membership and they haven't?

What a non member obviously can't expect is to use CWU facilities or be represented formally by the union but what they should be able to expect is that so called workmates won't leave them at the side of the road in the pissing rain because they're not members of a club.

So to carry on your argument, let's all quit the club ,that we pay money into weekly and just rely on the goodwill of everybody else, well good luck with that from the evidence I've seen in my long and indistinguished time here .
I utterly disagree with you , you have the choice to join or not to join, at any time, I personally joined on day 1 it's job insurance, so to use a different analogy , my house isn't insured and burns down, do I rely on everybody else's insurance to rebuild?

That's what your Union Rep, his Deputy and the area Rep are for; if and only if you joined the union, paid your dues and engaged in collective bargaining with the rest of us. Otherwise, if you haven't joined the Union, if you haven't stood shoulder to shoulder with the rest of us, good luck to you.

Yeh I am a member of the union I just feel like I am now being targeted, I have done a lot of overtime and was even working 6 days a week just don't know why I would be treated like this. So it might be best to talk to the union rep? also stated I shouldn't of got the job in the first place. Many thanks

i will translate what he said to you

"dont bring no work back, i dont care what time you finish, do that then after 6 months i may extend your contract , dont do the above and continue cutting off i will terminate you"

And two years is the norm for a full contract so this is the way they swing you by the balls for so long you will be dragging you dick on the floor!
