Frame checks

Post by exaandt »

I had my frame checked for mail when I was out on my delivery
When I got back there was a form next to a letter that apparently had been found on my frame
The form stated that the letter had been found on my frame and the address that was on the letter
Also on the form was a question asking why this letter was left on my frame
The letter was for a different postcode to the postcode that I deliver to but with a housing estate name simular to one I deliver to
I wrote on the form that the letter was for a different postcode and that I had no idea why it was there and maybe managers could tell me
I have since been told that my reply was not polite and incorrect
I stated that I didn't know why or how letter got to my frame
They want me to change my reply on form which I refused
I'm told they are taking advise to take this further
Should I change the reply or not

How can they take it further if it’s not yours?
How can they take it further when anyone could have placed it there after you left the office?

How do they know your reply is 'incorrect'? They don't!! As mentioned get the rep on it and I'm sure they'll conveniently forget about it!
Just make sure every morning your frame is clear, get someone (person on the next frame maybe) to witness your check too
