As with most things RM, it all depends on the local manager, but nationally they are very good indeed.
All post by me in Green are Admin Posts.

Thanks for reply. I've done a bit of reading up, and Royal Mail seem to be on board and 'supportive' of reservists. I guess my next step is to speak with DOM.

Trouble is most reservists want Saturday off and that’s a big ask these days, I was a reservist once it’s very challenging and good fun you work hard play hard, go for it and good luck monies ok as well.

Thank you. I'm really up for the challenge. Just looking in to what role I'd Like. Thankfully there are a few units in my area.
I did wonder about the Saturdays, but hopefully that'll work out somehow!!
It's something I really want to do and hope work doesn't scupper that.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
