Holiday pay for part timers 2018

The EAT ruling in August 2017 was that any overtime, voluntary included should be paid for holidays if it is done on a regular basis. Acas have this on their website and advise any employees to follow the grievance process. Some part time employees at my place of work have done 40 hours plus for over 7 years. Why are the union not pushing for this as Acas advise that the employees would win any tribunal hearing. This is a blatant unfair saving exercise that the business can no longer continue unless they abide by different law's and ignore employment tribunal rulings.

Also holidays should be 5.6 weeks for all UK employees
That's including any Bank holidays.
We get 8 days B/H minimum.
Added to the minimum 22.5 days annual leave that's 30.5 days or just over 6 weeks.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
