When a colleague transfers to a new office, do they lose their seniority.

You don't lose it, but you can't transfer in with your seniority to get a specific duty. You keep your seniority for repicks etc, but the agreements put local OPGs first for picking vacant duties, then transfers in.

I can't remember how they word it but that's the basics.

He means a re-sign process. This usually happens after the walks in a DO have been changed or reworked.

We have various walks coming up for signing. Who has the most seniority, me with 10 years+, same office for those years, or somebody who has transferred in in the last six months with more seniority.

If the person transferred in is officially on the books at your office they do.

Agreed. If has already transferred in then he has the seniority. If he was still waiting to transfer in then you would have.
