If it's a no vote.........

Does that discredit the negotiatiors? If so what does that lead to? Do they stand down?

Does it discredit the Exec? what then? Do these stand down?

Could this lead to confusion and no control at the top? Is it the end of the union?

On the CWU website Billy says 'We must also recognise that the agreement gives the Union the opportunity to be at the centre of dealing with change at national and local level'

Is it better to have some kind of influence albeit a bitter pill, than no influence and change steamrollered ?

The point is that a lot of us have lost money during the stikes, only to end up with what was on the table to start with. We could have settled it like this back in July. Vote NO :lfo :cfo :evil/mad

Not very impressed with the way they've dealt with these current changes still it's good to be at the centre :roll:

The Union will do what WE decide. It's ours and our elected representatives will act on the result of the democratic vote. If we vote no, they will negotiate again on our behalf to stop the flexibility and pensions issues being decided without our consent. I don't expect we'll get more money and there are more important things to fight for.

The problem is that RM are sticking to their own agenda despite the "agreement"; they're not waiting for us to vote, they take "executive action" and they tell people that the pensions and flexibility changes are agreed already. That is NOT RIGHT.

There are scheduled elections for Union officers and no doubt there'll be some discussion and changes then.
