Light duties...day off changed to tuesdays

Hi, I'm returning to work on light duties after christmas (still in a plaster cast), I have just been told while on light duties days off are every tuesday, is this correct...........

If you mean is it allowed - the answer is yes as long as you don't do more hours than you are contracted for. The contract most of signed is not specific on days worked, just the number of them.

To be frank, it makes sense, Tuesday is always a light day and the need for extra resources (ie you) above and beyond the plan is limited. It makes more sense even if you are on light duties inside to use you on the busier days,

Now if part of the light duties is actual delivery work on your own duty, then there may be a case of keeping your day off as it should be.

In both cases, though I would recommend speaking to a rep if you are unhappy.
