There are a couple of safeguards

Post by andy2007 »

There are a couple of important safeguards that have been added to the deal. But they are very ambiguous, and only apply to existing Staff.

I for one would think twice about voting for it, just because of the vauge protection, and crap deal. But far more importantly I REFUSE TO SELL FUTURE GENERATIONS DOWN THE RIVER!!!!! Which is what will happen if this deal gets in.

So I will be voting NO. Regardless of what CWU HQ recommend.

Deal???

Post by PostfromNotts »

Why has the CWU condensed the '18 pages' of the agreement into a leaflet which highlights key points?

Do they think the members can't digest the full facts?

No,ironically i think the CWU H.Q. will try and sell us this deal more than
RM.
Possibly an at a glance guide, may be enough to convince the un-informed
that it isn't really that bad(equally many people are now just sick of the whole
thing)
RM are well on their way to getting what they want, but the union need a yes
vote to maintain some credibility, not just with it's members, but with business
leaders,general public,and other interested parties.
this vote will go a long way in determining everyone's future.

thats because there isnt one part of that deal that benifits us..

the only very slight plus is we get to keep our earlier times on saturday...well whoopy s**t....they are going to take everything if this deal gets a yes vote..

so how can hayes and ward think its the best we can get...

this deal is a f***ing insult...
