Wages issue

This is a new one...

Im a part-timer 25hr, but get 'made up' every week to full time, just got my wage slip through my overtime is on there but my regular hours are no where to be seen there is a 'sick pay payment' which is minimal, but i wasnt even sick last week?!

i am off sick this week tbf but that shouldnt affect last weeks pay? This means i am super short and things to pay for and am not gonna be in this week to sort it i doubt. Anyone had similar? It really does leave me in a spot when i am 25hours short of money, i shouldnt have to wait a week for that its not my error.

You get paid this week for this weeks normal hours plus last weeks over time.

do you? i always thought you got paid a week 'behind'. Fair enough, in that case i must not be entitled to sick pay? which is strange.

All overtime is paid a week later. Contract pay is the week you are working.

If you say, start on a Monday working for the company you’ll get paid that weeks contract pay on the Friday

You don't get paid sick pay in the first 12 months.

I would imagine that you have been paid statutory sick pay for the week plus your overtime from last week. As said before you are not entitled to full sick pay unless you have a years service.
