Ill health retirement

Post by stevenshm »

Hello Everyone
Just looking for some advise on ill health retirement
my arthritis from an old injury has now got to much to bear and just wanted to know the best route
to go?
I have a consultants letter and advise from the old ATOS confirming it
the question is do you have to go sick and stay off sick?
or can you go to management and explain and volunteer yourself for it?

thanks for any replies

I would get your doctor on side first and foremost as you will need them after dealing with most management but good luck to you.
