Cost difference Tracked and Tracked Signature?

Have had 3 parcels this past week from same company (well known national tool company), the address label for which says Tracked No Signature, however
when scanned require a signature.

Question is are this particular national company paying less for Tracked No Signature but getting Tracked Signature service or is the cost
the same for both services?

I've had this too but then I've also had another company that says signature on the address label but one is not required!

After a bit of digging have found out that 'Tracked Signature' is 30p more than just 'Tracked' at lower volumes.
