I obviously understand the need for confidentiality regarding the negotiations to come to an agreement for the current dispute,but no updates of any kind?
The union notice board was awash with LTU's and almost daily updates etc,but since RM won the legal high ground,not so much as a sentence on what's going on!
It's almost like a forgotten war,anyone got anything?Dingo?

Because there is nothing to update.
What has happened up to now is that both parties have submitted their position papers to the Mediator. Both sides are now waiting for the Mediators report. Then, when that has happened, hopefully, progress will be made and information will be forthcoming.

Surely he has told you that any further developments cannot be known until the arbitrator has summarised each sides position and given them both a starting position from which to negotiate or reject. What more can he tell you?

Apparently RM's submission to the mediator runs to over 200 pages. She then has the CWU one to contend with.
Unless she is a speed reader she will need more time to read the submissions and formulate any proposals.
Who decides if she can have more time?
Will Terry push the nuclear button and call strikes as soon as is humanly possible?
Will RM make a pay offer before xmas to placate the revolting hordes?
