I recall a big demo in 2013 at the Tory party conference in Manchester. The police described it as one of the largest and most peaceful demo's the city had ever seen. As the CWU section passed by, Fallon deliberately stepped out to wind people up and to try and get a reaction that he could have used in the papers. A trick the Tories use a lot at such events. We were witty enough to keep it to factual abuse. No story for the Tory press.

The difference is Labour have suspended one of the MPs who has been accused of sexual indiscretions pending an enquiry. Where are the Tories when it comes to the crunch. No suspension for Fallon or Damian Greene. Probably waiting for the Tory Whip to accumulate the dirt on these two in order to blackmail them if they dare to vote against the government.

Isn't part of the problem that Israel has always been the Jewish State, that there are ample reasons for criticising Israel and any criticism of Israel is seen as criticism of Jews and so is interpreted as anti Semitic ?

Yeh I'd broadly go along with that LL. I'm uncomfortable with how Israel was established (illegally). And even though it could be argued that Britain's participation in that part of the world was duplicitous, the attacks on British servicemen by Zionist terrorist groups at the time of the formation of Israel, makes me wonder why Israel gets such an easy ride from those with a persuasion for voting for political parties to the right of centre, who generally hold the armed forces as being such a fundamentally important demonstration of patriotism (which is no bad thing as many have made the ultimate sacrifice, and ultimately did in the months before Israel was formed, at the hands of Zionist terrorists).

I'm neither for or against Labour or Conservatives. If somebody is going to call out some half baked political motivated one sided comment on a political personage, it must be balanced by a factual counterpoint, otherwise it's just a politically inspired brainwashing propaganda soundbite.

Fallon put his hand on some woman's knee, I believe the woman didn't feel like a victim or felt that any sexual assault had taken place, so it begs the question why the point was initially raised.
